We are seeking a full-time Design Technician to support project delivery and lead the development of Unison's Revit content and documentation standards. The ideal candidate is an advanced Revit user who can translate design ideas into clear, coordinated, and buildable documents while improving the tools and workflows used across the studio.
What You'll Do
- Develop coordinated BIM models and construction documents.
- Collaborate with project teams and consultants to resolve technical and coordination issues.
- Contribute to details, schedules, code documentation, and quality-control reviews.
- Lead the development and maintenance of Revit templates, families, details, schedules, and content libraries.
- Establish practical standards for model setup, documentation, collaboration, and file management.
- Serve as a Revit resource through troubleshooting, staff guidance, training, and reference materials.
- Evaluate Autodesk updates and new tools that could improve studio workflows.
What We're Looking For
- Professional architectural production experience and advanced Revit expertise.
- Strong knowledge of architectural documentation, detailing, building systems, codes, construction methods, and consultant coordination.
- Experience leading BIM standards or the ability to grow into that responsibility.
- A degree in architecture, architectural technology, drafting, construction technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM Collaborate Pro, Bluebeam, and Enscape.
- A collaborative, patient, and curious approach to sharing technical knowledge and improving how we work.
